Plugin Update Posts Have Been Reclassified

Welcome Shadowood Press  reader,

I would like to drop you off a quick note regarding the Plugin Update category here at Shadowood Press.

All new plugin update posts will now be properly classified under their own category. This means any posts specific to plugins will be more topically related to such things as how a plugin works, a plugin setup guide or a plugin review. All existing posts for this category have been corrected to fall into the new category and should show up properly.

We will be correcting the titles and page locations to remove the “Plugin Update” portion of text. For more clarification,

Currently you see a title like this:

Plugin Update – Slim Stat Analytics 4.4.2

With a link like this:

http://shadowoodpress.com/plugin-update-slim-stat-analytics-4-4-2/plugin-updates/

This format has the term plugin update twice. This makes for bad reading and bad SEO so I will have to spend some time correcting this. I will attempt to redirect all possible links to the correctly formatted links.

I am leaning towards keeping the post titled as such: Plugin Update – Slim Stat Analytics 4.4.2, as I hope this will separate the post types a little without having to keep the category tags. In the future I think I will be removing category tags entirely.

For the above example you would then see: http://shadowoodpress.com/plugin-update-slim-stat-analytics-4-4-2/

This will affect any external links and page references so please be patient if I miss a few. If you find a page that is broken make sure to let me know using the comments form or post in the comments below.

Please make comments below if you feel one way or the other.

I apologize in advance if this is going to confuse anyone. Just trying to do some cleanup to make everything a little easier to read.

Thank you,

Derek
